Since Trúc no longer lives in a dorm, she has realized that her life from now on will be a series of challenging days of survival in Ho Chi Minh City - where she has to learn how to cook. This journey wouldn't be anything special if Trúc hadn't started cooking while also paying closer attention to her health and weight (no without reason, as she actually gained about 10 kg after starting her relationship with Bảo).

Yesterday, while looking up information about lettuce, Trúc discovered that lettuce isn't simply just lettuce. Besides the "normal" lettuce, there is also crystal lettuce, and even some types that look exactly like cabbage. However, because she had no cooking experience (and used to hate eating vegetables), if someone dropped her into a market (are somewhere similar) right now, she probably wouldn't be able to tell one type from another. Fortunately, today Trúc visited Bách Hóa Xanh near her apartment and saw they were selling crystal lettuce, which she had read online is crunchier and sweater than regular lettuce. That was how the most delicious chicken breast salad Trúc had ever made was born, and soon enough, Bảo would become her first guinea pig.
